2013 Walluf Walkenberg Riesling Beerenauslese, Rheingau, Germany

Herbal-vegetal and floral nose with relatively tart yellow-fruity aromas, a little saffron and earthy notes that are slightly reminiscent of root vegetables. Creamy and very sweet fruit in the mouth, caramel aromas, again a little vegetable, fine, lively acidity, good persistence, floral nuances, a hint of light tobacco, not forever deep, also pronounced sugary-caramel on the finish.
