2015 Süd-Steiermark Ried Koregg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, polished nose, green vegetal and herbaceous notes, restrained citrus aromas, elderberry flowers, avocado, fairly prominent earthy and mineral notes. Polished, dry, elegant, juicy, cool fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, prominent green vegetal and herbaceous notes, some lime and kumquat, light tannic touch, earthy and mineral notes, good persistence, floral traces, hint of dark berries, quite compact, again a hint of dark berries on a very good elegant, juicy, minerally finish.

Editor note: Nose still slightly muted, light yeasty and prominent vegetal notes, green and yellow fruit, prominent green asparagus and some broccoli, elegant mushroomy notes, earthy and mineral notes, light floral aromas. Quite firm on the palate, tart fruit, prominent spicy vegetal notes, yeasty and earthy notes, fairly prominent acidity, slightly sandy tannins, persistent, good substance, firm bite and grip, herbaceous notes in the background, delicately sweetish and creamy, peppery traces, green bell peppers, still young, medium body, very good finish.
