2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon "Erah", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart nose, meaty, animal notes, black berries, partly roasted bell peppers, spicy notes. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, light toasted oak, earthy notes, touch of bell peppery and tobacco, slightly astringent, sandy tannins, slightly noticeablke warm alcohol, fairly firm structure, herbs and light mineral notes in the background, more fairly prominent tannins on a very good, juicy, spicy finish.
