2003 Kamptal trocken Hager weiß, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mature nose, spicy old oak, dried and candied yellow fruit, some dried figs, walnut shells, carob and dried herbs. Soft on the palate, but also slightly sharp, slightly bitter notes, earthy and nutty notes, some bread, light medicinal notes, mature dried and preserved fruit, spicy old oak, has some substance, but not particularly deep, slightly rustic style, noticeable alcohol, light tannic touch on a warm, delicately bitter, otherwise good finish, shows vintage characteristics.
