2014 Leistadt Spätburgunder Alte Reben, Pfalz, Germany

Light toasted notes on the nose, red and black berries, nutty aromas, herbaceous and floral traces, hint of mushrooms. Fairly firm, tart fruit on the palate, light toasted oak, hint of smoked bacon, vegetal notes in the background, hint of mushrooms, fine, sandy, youthful tannins, still very sligy astringent, light acid bite, still very slightly brittle, salty traces, good to very good finilsh. Still needs some time to mature.
