2002 Mittelburgenland Ried Fabian Pinot Noir trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly mature nose, elegant, delicate roasted notes, some dried and preserved red berries, light rubbery note. Harmonious o nthe palate, mature and at its peak, roasted nutshells, ripe dried and preserved berries, delciate tart herbaceous notes, light touch of sweetish mature tannins, moderate and very fine, only very slightly astringent, full-bodied without being heavy, moderate mineral notes, very well made, shows its origins more than any varietal character, fairly deep, long finish.
