2006 trocken Ab Ericio, Burgenland, Austria

Sour cherries and mixed berries on the nose, mulberries, herbaceous notes and some cool mineral notes in the background, light roasted and smoky notes. Polished and juicy on the palate, sweetish spicy oak, very fine tannins, roasted notes and some chocolate, sweetish spice, good persistence, full-bodied and creamy, slightly noticeable alcohol, still largely undeveloped, good depth, long finish. Needs time to mature.
