Editor note: Cool nose, slightly tart red and black berries and some sour cherries, prominent mineral and delicate floral notes, light smoky notes and spicy oak. Very firm on the palate, cool, elegant and juicy fruit, light acid bite, more light smoky notes and spicy oak, some bacon, fairly prominent but very fine tannins, prominent mineral notes again, full-bodied but also quite elegant, persistent, good depth, long finish.
