2006 Mittelburgenland Zweigelt trocken Classic, Burgenland, Austria

Cool nose, red berries and plums, some undergrowth as well as light animal notes and herbaceous notes. Fairly prominent straightforward fruit on the palate, preserved light red berries, fairly persistent, delicate, integrated notes of old oak, polished and harmonious, slightly prominent fine-grained tannins, only very slightly astringent, attractive to good finish.
