2007 St. Laurent trocken Classic, Burgenland, Austria

Berries on the nose, herbs and spices, mineral notes, light burnt notes and some old oak. Compact fruit on the palate, preserved red currants, some mineral and herbaceous notes, appears lighter than it is, light earthy notes in the background, slightly astringent, integrated tannins, clearly shows its origin, attractive to good finish.

Editor note: Red and black berries on the nose, fairly prominent earthy and light mineral notes, tar and some spicy old oak. Elegant and juicy on the palate, cool style, quite prominent mineral notes, fine tannins and very elegant acidity, fairly light-bodied, but still persistent, has some depth, still undeveloped, good finish.
