2007 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch trocken Classic, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly mature, tranquil nose, predominantly red berries and sweet sherries, some coffee and bitter almond, delicate floral traces and earthy notes. Clear, straightforward style, polished fruit, fine tannins, delicate acid bite, mineral traces, some more light earthy notes, and a touch of old oak, well balanced, delicately juicy and quite lively, attractive to good finish.
