2008 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch trocken Classic, Burgenland, Austria

Preserved red and black berries on the nose, some cherry notes, touch of tobacco, old oak. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, delicate spice, elegant acid bite, very fine tannins, fairly persistent and slightly creamy, well balanced, good finish.
