2009 Ried Fabian Pinot Noir trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Ripe red berries and some black berries on the nose, moderate oak, vegetal traces, earthy and mineral notes. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, polished oak in a modern style, fine, predominantly mature tannins, earthy and mineral as well as light vegetal notes, noticeable alcohol, good persistence, more alcohol on an otherwise good finish.
