2013 Ried Kart Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clean, clear nose, black berries and cherries, delicate floral and herbaceous aromas, earthy traces, touch of old oak, light citrus notes. Clear, polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, still largely undeveloped, yeasty notes and nutty oak, light earthy notes in the background, herbaceous and floral traces, persistent, light salty notes, prominent fine dusty tannins, still slightly astringent, medium body, also has cool elements, some depth, hint of tobacco, cedary traces, hint of citrus fruit and floral traces on a clear, tart, elegant, juicy finish. Definitely needs time to develop.
