2015 Ried Kart Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly firm, deep nose, light meaty, animal notes, ripe black berries and a few red berries, prominent tobacco notes, light oak, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, juicy, fairly tart fruit on the palate, prominent oak and tobacco, meaty notes and sooty traces, fairly prominent fine, sandy tannins, light bite, full body, noticeable, but integrated warm alcohol, more earthy and salty mineral notes in the background, hint of bell peppers, becomes noticeably more fresh and elegant with aeration, and appears slightly cool, very good, firm finish. Needs time to mature.
