2015 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch Reserve trocken Biiri, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, polished nose, black berries and cherries, hint of tobacco, light spicy oak, peppery traces, some dried herbs, mineral traces. Firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, slightly smoky oak, firm, fine, youthful tannins, light bite, hint of tobacco, slightly spicy, some cocoa and tobacco, peppery traces, good depth and substance, quite complex, mineral and herbaceous notes on a firm, juicy, spicy finish.
