2016 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch Reserve trocken Biiri, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, polished nose, black berries and a few cherries, delicate nutty oak, hint of tobacco and light peppery spice. Polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, some acid bite, fine youthful tannins, concentrated and persistent, salty mineral notes and herbaceous traces in the background, more light pepperyspice, hint of cocoa and coffee, fresh style with some bite on a very good, firm, juicy finish.
