The estate is located in the municipality of Wiltingen (Saar area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle
, It was founded in 1873 by the widow Anna Lioba Resch. A guest house is connected. Since the early 1990s, the fifth generation of the family has been managed by advertising specialist Franz-Andreas Resch and his wife Monika. The vineyards cover almost seven hectares of vineyards in the Klosterberg vineyards, Rosenberg
(Wiltingen). They are mainly planted with the Riesling, as well as the varieties Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Consistently natural, environmentally friendly viticulture with, for example, permanent greenery has been practiced since the 1980s. The goal is to typicality
of the Saar Riesling and to bring it into the bottle as authentically and in relation to the location. Wherever possible, the wines are fermented spontaneously and stored for a long time , They are expanded in stainless steel, plastic and glass tanks. An interesting experiment is the Riesling "Newton", which is created without mechanical influences. In suitable years, noble sweet berries and ice wines are also pressed.
