2018 Weststeiermark DAC Eibiswald Ortswein trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Yeasty nose, delicate hint of mushrooms and bacon, light floral notes, aromas of red berries, light earthy and mineral notes. Fairly firm on the palate, still yeasty with a hint of bacon, vegetal notes reminiscent of pulses, peppery notes, lively acidity, firm grip, still young, good substance and persistence, mineral notes in the background, clear contours, good to very good, fairly firm, tart finish. Well-made wine.
