2013 Leithaberg DAC Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Tart, cool nose, cherries, pomegranate and predominantly red berries, dried vegetal and floral as well as mineral notes, hint of tobacco, elegant wild herbs. Clear, polished, cool, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, fine touthful tannins, still slightly astringent, light acid bite, persistent, very elegant, light vegetal and herbaceous aromas, some old oak, more pomegranate, good persistence, hint of tobacco and juniper, earthy and salty traces, very good tart finish.
