2013 Leithaberg DAC Chardonnay trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, slightly reductive nose, elegant vegetal, light hrerbaceous and delicate nutty notes, restrained yellow fruit, slightly smoky, touch of old oak, prominent mineral notes. Firm, ripe, again restrained fruit on the palate, nutty and slightly smoky oak, elegant vegetal and herbaceous aromas, fairly prominent salty, spicy mineral notes, persistent, firm grip, some depth, complex, very good long finish. Has character and class, but definitely needs time to develop.
