2015 Bingen Kirchberg Felix, Rheinhessen, Germany

Smoky nose, earthy and dried vegetal notes, hint of bacon, predominantly black berries, hint of tobacco, delicate sooty notes. Restrained red and black fruit on the palate, light smoky, sooty oak, herbs, hint of citrus, lively acidity, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, slightly salty, hint of sugar candy, quite fresh, nutty notes, good to very good, fairly juicy finish.
