2018 Bingen Scharlachberg Riesling Auslese, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool nose, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, citrus and stone fruit, light floral and mineral notes. Very sweet, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous traces, spicy notes reminiscent of curcuma, lively acidity, slightly sandy tannins provide light grip, good substance and persistence, mineral traces, prominent notes of sugar candy, touch of yellow spice, some more slightly sandy tannins on a very good, fairly sweet finish.
