2017 Burrweiler Schlossgarten Grauburgunder Auslese VDP.Erste Lage, Pfalz, Germany

Fairly mature nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, partly preserved and candied yellow fruit aromas, nutty, earthy and mineral notes. Very sweet, partly preserved and candied fruit on the palate, lively acidity, lightly toasted oak, prominent yellow spice, vegetal, herbaceous and floral traces, light tannic touch, good substance and persistence, light mineral notes in the background, some vanilla and caramel, smoky, toasted traces, candied fruit on a very good finish.
