2016 Grüner Veltliner trocken Vogelsang, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, deep, complex nose, yellow spice, light peppery and dried vegetal notes, ripe citrus fruit, stone and pomaceous fruit, prominent flinty mineral notes, light nutty traces. Ripe, complex, very juicy, partly candied fruit on the palate, yeasty aromas and more yellow spice, some sugar candy, lively, elegant acidity, persistent, has substance,, quite full-bodied, hint of tobacco, noticeable mineral notes in the background, hint of orange zests and exotic fruit, still young, good depth, clear contours and grip on a juicy, fairly complex finish. Continues to develop for several days.
