2016 Schlossböckelheim Felsenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken "Felsentürmchen", Nahe, Germany

Firm, slightly reductive nose, light yeasty notes, hint of mushrooms, intense mineral notes, cool yellow fruit, floral notes reminiscent of roses, hint of green beans, green bacon and mushrooms. Fairly juicy fruit, initially sweeish, but more tart with aeration, sugar candy, mushrooms, beans, floral aromas, herbaceous traces, elegant acidity, integrated tannins, noticeable salty notes in the background, touch of white pepper, candied grapefruit and red vineyard peaches, good substance and persistence, yellow spice, some dapth, fairly full-bodied, hint of sugar candy and yeasty notes on a very good spicy, minerally finish.
