2017 Kreuznach Krötenpfuhl Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

cool, firm nose, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, earthy notes, restrained yellow fruit, hint of juniper, sage and green peppery traces. Ripe, restrained, then increasingly juicy, slightly creamy fruit on the palate, green aromatic notes, elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, hint of dark berries in the background, some more sage, floral traces, persistent and concentrated, salty mineral notes, some bergamot, firm core, still undeveloped, very slightly noticeable warm alcohol, dried vegetal notes and spicy green pepper on a very good, long, tart, juicy finish.
