Tart nose, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, red and black berries, some undergrowth and tobacco. Ripe fruit on the palate, slightly bitter, sooty, tosted, nutty oak, hint of tobacco, fine sandy tannins, light bite, good substance and persistence, noticeable alcohol, hint of dark chocolate in the background, slightly rustic style, ripe fruit on a good toasted, alcoholic finish.
