2017 Wachau Ried Steinriegel Chardonnay Spätlese trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clearly green-vegetable nose with restrained yellow-fruity notes, floral and earthy hints and a touch of dark berries. Sweet and sour, again restrained fruit with grassy-vegetable flavours, some tannin, some persistence, earthy traces in the background, not very deep, a little carbonic acid, floral nuances, slightly droppy in the neat, lemony finish
