2018 Wachau Ried Kaiserberg Grüner Veltliner Auslese halbtrocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Vegetal notes on the nose, light lactic and volatile notes, noticeable high alcohol, candied yellow fruit aromas, hint of mustard gherkin, floral notes, touch of yellow spice. Sweetish fruit on the palate, more yellow spice, prominent mustard gherkin, honey, candied and preserved yellow fruit, good substance nad persistence, fairly lively acidity, touch of dried fruit, nutty and buttery notes, very high alcohol level, slightly sharp, good finish with nutty notes and some caramel.
