The estate is located in the municipality of Nussdorf at the foot of the Wetterkreuzberg south of Krems in the Lower Austrian wine region Traisental, An orchard is connected. The family business has existed for several generations. It is run by Reinhard Herzinger, his son Ing. Andreas Herzinger is responsible for the cellar. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards in the vineyards behind the castle, high castle, nut garden and saupoint on loafing terraces with stony and rocky ground. They are planted to 80% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc, and 20% with Cabernet Sauvignon. Consistently natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is practiced. The wines are vinified with clean grape pressing and chilled fermentation. The premium wines include various Green Veltliners and Rieslings and Traisental DAC Reserve. In addition to the wines are also a altar wine, bottle-fermented sparkling wine (Grüner Veltliner), liqueurs, brandies (grapes, fruit), fruit juices, jams and alcoholic compotes.
