2001 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany

Intense nose with strong mineral notes, aromas of white peaches and partly candied citrus fruit. Powerful, crystal clear and densely woven fruit, elegant, crisp acidity, deep mineral foundation, concentrated and very persistent, full-bodied, spicy grip, delicate herbal and blackcurrant notes in the background, tremendously long finish.
