2002 Winningen Röttgen Riesling Alte Reben, Mosel, Germany

Extremely concentrated, intense, gripping mineral nose, with peach and citrus fruit aromas. Fat and juicy in the mouth, prominent sweetness, firm and at the same time elegant acidity, intense mineral notes on the palate, gripping, deep and persistent, firm structure, extremely complex, though the sweetness is currently in the foreground, and covers some other qualities, great length. Needs time to develop, to integrate the sweetness - will probably still improve.
