2002 Winningen Uhlen Riesling erste Lage, "B", Mosel, Germany

Lots of cool mineral notes on the nose, firmly structured, aromas of peach with some apple and citrus fruit. Very piquant in the mouth, with lively acidity and vegetal aromas, delicately tart and deep mineral notes, also a little residual sugar, still a slight yeasty influence, aeration brings the fruity components to the fore, the finish is very long, fruity, and at the same time quite tart with mineral notes. Should definitely be decanted at this stage in its development.
