2013 Riesling vom blauen Schiefer, Mosel, Germany

Almost sweet citrus-stone fruit scent with herbal-herbal nuances, a touch of celery and a hint of wax. Taut, juicy, rather bright fruit with fine herbal and planty tones and still a trace of yeast, clearly drier than the nose suggests, lively acidity, persistent on the palate, has grip and tension, clear, partly dark minerality, some depth, very good, juicy, tart-spicy and again grippy finish with smoky traces. Very pleasing.
