2014 Riesling trocken vom blauen Schiefer, Mosel, Germany

Somewhat developed citrus nose with peach notes and clearly vegetal notes, slightly reminiscent of broccoli, herbs, a hint of yellow spice and mineral and slightly black berry flavours. Taut, tart fruit, present acidity, smoky and vegetal tones, some grip from crumbly tannin, good persistence, appears completely dry, clear minerality, has good tension, very good, taut finish.

Editor note: Firm, somewhat vegetal and very mineral scent with citrus aromas, pome and stone fruit as well as herbal and earthy nuances. Clear, elegantly juicy, cool fruit, lots of vegetal spice and prominent mineral notes, prominent acidity, persistent on the palate, some tannic touch and tobacco traces, dark berries in the background, has a bite, has some depth, very good finish.
