2016 Hatzenport Kirchberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Light yeasty notes on the nose, herbs and spices, prominent mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit, light vegetal and earthy notes, dark fruit and some honeydew melon. Ripe, juicy, spicy fruit on the palate, yeasty and vegetal notes, hint of dark berries, lively, elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, good substance, concentrated and persistent, good depth, yeasty notes, intense earthy and stony mineral notes, fairly creamy, dark spice on a very good, long, juicy, gripping finish.
