2016 Winningen Uhlen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken Laubach, Mosel, Germany

Nose still slightly reductive, cool, deep and complex, quite firm, light yeasty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, delicate hint of bacon, elegant yellow fruit, some yellow spice, intense mineral notes. Firm, fairly cool juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, spicy dried vegetal notes, earthy and some dark mineral notes, deep and persistent, integrated ripe tannins provide firm grip, sweetish and creamy, medium body, still young, prominent red fruit, particularly cranberries, vegetal and herbaceous notes on a long, gripping, juicy finish.
