2017 Riesling trocken vom blauen Schiefer, Mosel, Germany

Firm nose, earthy, mineral and light vegetal notes, hint of mushrooms, restrained yellow fruit, hint of tobacco. Firm, tart, juicy, fairly cool fruit on the palate, vegetal notes, peppery traces, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, very elegant acidity, integrated tannins provide grip, persistent, still young, good depth, hint of bacon, some more peppery spice and good grip, light herbaceous and prominent mineral notes on a very good juicy finish.
