2006 Kamptal Ried Thal Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly intense nose, complex and very spicy, extrmely ripe pomaceous fruit and honeydew melon, sweetish tobacco, hint of olives, touch of caramel, herbs and citrus fruit. Concentrated and full-bodied, clear, creamy melon fruit and pears on the palate, some exotic nuances, spicy vegetal notes, some more caramel, prominetn mineral notes in the background, firm structure, deep and persistent, still youthful, long finish.
