2006 Kamptal Weißburgunder trocken Maximum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Impressive, dep, complex nose, honeydew melon and citrus notes, olives, herbaceous notes and intense mineral notes, some tobacco. Very firmly structured on the palate, nutty and creamy, extremely ripe fruit, very elegant acidity, persistent, deep and full-bodied, tobacco, some more powerful mineral notes, complex and gripping, great length. Possibly the best wine from this variety we have ever seen.
