2007 Kamptal Ried Thal Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Quite a youthful nose, pomaceous fruit and some stone fruit, prominent vegetal notes, some vegetables, fairly prominent mineral notes. Juicy and creamy on the palate, firm fruit, vegetal and nutty notes, very elegant acidity, full-bodied and creamy, good persistence, hint of candied nuts, good to very good finish. Appears to be in an interim phase.

Firmly structured on the palate, elegant fruit, vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco, prominent mineral notes, fairly prominent elegant acidity, elegant tart notes, still totally undeveloped, persistent, good depth, light acid bite, but also very creamy, full-bodied but not clumsy, very long finish. Needs time to develop.
