Editor note: Nutty and earthy notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, tranquil, predominantly red berry aromas, a few black berries, some oak and earthy notes. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, toasted, spicy oak, hint of cocoa and cardamom, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, quite full-bodied, good persistence, creamy with noticeable warm alcohol, hint of mushrooms in the background, smoky traces, fairly prominent mineral notes, hint of coffee, very good, slightly warm finish.
