2011 Michelbach Apostelgarten Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, light nutty notes, hint of bacon, prominent vegetal notes, ripe yellow fruit, floral traces, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, creamy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, vegetal and herbaceous aromas, hint of yellow spice, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, very slightly muted, hint of tobacco, good substance and depth, still quite young, delicate hint of sugar candy, some yellow spice on a very good, firm, fairly juicy, minerally finish.
