2014 Eußenheim First Spätburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light earthy notes on the nose, red and a few black berries, delicate toasted notes, preserved cherries. Fairly juic fruit on the palate, light nutty oak, earthy and dried vegetal notes, light acid bite, fine, sandy, youthful tannins, medium body, some persistence, nutty notes, slightly astringent on a good to very good finish.
