2017 Pinot Noir ***, Baden, Germany

Astringent, slightly tobacco-like and moderately woody scent of red and black berries with floral and slightly spicy aromas. Firm, quite juicy red and also a little black fruit, some liquorice and a hint of coffee, fine bite, youthful, ripe tannin, good substance and persistence, mineral tones, very slightly sweetish melt, salty notes, very good finish with relatively dark juice, roasted and almond tones and spice.
