2011 Escherndorf Lump Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clearly vegetal nose with quite fresh yellow fruity aromas, some yellow spice, herbs, wax and distinct minerality. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, nutty tones, a little caramel and butter, lively acidity, grip of ripe tannin, candy tones, distinct citrus aromas, persistent, powerful and unusually fruity for a Silvaner, tart minerality, sweet melting, nutty hints, a touch of dark berries, firm, rather juicy finish with some alcohol warmth and again sweet candy notes.

Muss reifen.
