2015 Escherndorf Fürstenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken "S", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light spicy oak on the nose, hint of bacon, red and a few black berries, hint of tobacco, delicate spicy traces. Ripe, slightly warm and creamy fruit on the palate, light toasted oak, some cocoa and coffee, youthful, ripe, fine sandy tannins, light bite, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good persistence, nutty notes, malted traces, more toasted notes on a good to very good, slightly warm finish.
