Editor note: Vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, smoky traces, also still slightly yeasty, elegant, cool yellow fruit, fairly prominent mineral notes. Clear, polished, cool fruit on the palate, firm, elegant and juicy, hint of oak, yeasty notes, smoky traces, fresh vegetal and herbaceous traces, elegant, lively acidity,persistent, light mineral notes in the background, some grip and depth, still very young, clear contours, some bite on a very good firm, tart, juicy finish.
Best to drink: Late 2018-2022+

The German growing area Franconia used to be in the three main triangle areas, Mainviereck and Steigerwald with 23 large layers and 216 individual layers. In November 2011 a new regulation was decided by the members of the Franconian Wine Association. The three old areas will be replaced by 12 much smaller ones. In the medium to long term, these will also replace the 23 large locations. The old areas once played a role in the predominant marketing of Franconian table wine, which they had lost for a long time.
