Editor note: Vegetal, herbaceous and mineral notes on the nose, cool, fresh yellow fruit, floral traces reminiscent of jasmine, hint of dark berries. Clear, polished, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, elegant yeasty, vegetal and herbaceous traces, hint of dark berries again, floral traces, persistent, good substance, but appears very light-footed, very elegant acidity, stony mineral notes in the background, slightly creamy, very good polished finish.
Best to drink: Late 2018-2021+

The German growing area Franconia used to be in the three main triangle areas, Mainviereck and Steigerwald with 23 large layers and 216 individual layers. In November 2011 a new regulation was decided by the members of the Franconian Wine Association. The three old areas will be replaced by 12 much smaller ones. In the medium to long term, these will also replace the 23 large locations. The old areas once played a role in the predominant marketing of Franconian table wine, which they had lost for a long time.
